I absolutely adore weddings, so when I was invited to the launch party of a new wedding orientated business, I jumped at the chance! I went with my lovely blogger friend, Kate, and we had a wonderful, giggle-filled night.
The business being launched was At A Social Event, which is a new and very modern way of sharing your wedding memories whilst they're happening.
The concept behind At A Social Event is to get social media involved on your wedding day. Social media is a huge part of our lives nowadays, and with At A Social Event, guests can upload their photos throughout the day with a specific hashtag. These photos will then be projected on a screen for all guests to see (and don't worry, they're filtered - no rudies!).
It's a great way to see the weddings through everyone's eyes as the day plays out, and the great thing is, this isn't limited to weddings. This sort of business could be used at birthday parties, work events and so much more!
The launch party was held at the beautiful Forever Bridal Boutique. They showcased numerous beautiful dresses which got me and Kate dreaming of our big days! The future brides that attended the event were even lucky enough to receive discount. (I admit, I was slightly jealous!)

Thoughout the night we were spoilt with glasses of bubbly and yummy canapés. We had a wonderful night mixing with new people and having a laugh. In particular, me and Kate spent the night chatting with wedding photographer, Jemma, who we convinced to sign up to Twitter... Find her link below!
I'd just landed home from Tenerife the day of the event, and had been awake for almost 40 hours straight, so I think the bubbly went to my head a tiny bit, since me and Kate didn't stop giggling all night!
I would like to say a huge thank you to Sarah (At A Social Event) for inviting me along, and also a thank you to Rachel at Forever Bridal Boutique for letting us use the beautiful shop. I found a wedding dress I absolutely adored and ended putting together about 6,672 imaginary wedding scenarios in my head. Now I just need the ring...

So lovely launch party!! The food looks so yummy. All the wedding gowns are so pretty. You know I also attended so many bridal events at various NY venues when I was doing my wedding arrangements. These events are way too helpful in planning a wedding. Isn’t it?
