Munching on the New Nando's Summer 2016 Menu

Back in May when exams were ruling my life (oh, I know, I've wittered on about them enough!), I was lucky enough to be invited along to Nando's to sample their new summer menu. Being a gal that loves a cheeky Nando's - so much so that it made an appearence in a list of 50 things that make me happy - I couldn't wait to get stuck in, and now I finally have time to tell you all about the glorious grub, and no doubt make myself drool along the way.

Getting Party Ready with Cracker Drinks Co.

Let's go back in time to about three months ago. Exams were approaching, assignments were due, and my dissertation deadline was looming, meaning free time was at an absolute zero. During this time, however, Cracker Drinks Co. sent over the cutest package for me which I saved for one of my rare nights off, and now, with freedom upon me, I can finally tell you all about it.

I got warm fuzzy feelings in my tummy as soon as I unwrapped the package. It came in a super cute multicoloured spotted box which I forgot to take a photo of and I hate myself so much for forgetting. Whoops. But fear not, because inside the package was just as wonderful (if not more so!).

Down the rabbit hole to a Mad Hatter Afternoon Tea with Hallmark Hotel

If you like Disney, food and cute things (and who doesn't?!), then you will love today's post. A couple of weeks ago, some of my fave Hull bloggers and I were invited to try an Alice in Wonderland afternoon tea at the Hallmark Hotel in Hull, and being an afternoon tea virgin (shocking, I know), I couldn't wait to get stuck in and try everything out.

Mountains of Meat and Getting Dirty at Smoke BBQ Leeds

"Ashton - do you want to get dirty?" This was the subject of the e-mail that led me to Smoke BBQ in Leeds last month. After opening the e-mail and realising that it was an invite to a blogger event complete with free food and free beer, my answer was yes. Yes, I want to get dirty. Sign me up.

Forget the eggs and have a Baker Days Easter cake

I know I've probably said this a million times, as has everybody else, but... where is 2016 going?! Easter is just a week away, and with Easter comes lots of chocolate in the shape of rabbits, chicks and, of course, a good old fashioned egg. But what if you fancy something different this year? What if you and your family have decided to mix it up for a change? Well then, Baker Days can definitely sort you out...

The Yummiest Way to Eat Your Photo

It's no secret that I love cake. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: when someone says cake, I immediately want cake. I can't help it. Seriously. I've been known to even munch on cake for breakfast, and so imagine my delight when I had the chance to receive a box of cakes complete with my logo on the top.

Eat Your Photo were on the lookout for bloggers to review their yummy goodies, and quite naturally I was quick to respond and let them know that I, Ashton Gibbs, would love to play cake tester for them. I opted for vanilla cupcakes* with my blog logo on top, and how bloody cute do they look?!

So imagine if there was a way cake could come through my letterbox too. What a combination! Well, imagine no more, and instead look towards Baker Days!
