Sol Pelicanos Ocas, Benidorm
Blackpool with sun. That's what they say about Benidorm, right?
Quite honestly, they're not wrong. But I bloomin' love it. And being big fans of the TV show, we opted for the very hotel it was filmed in - Sol Pelicanos Ocas.

Consumed by Wanderlust and Craving Luxury
It's no secret that I love to travel. I didn't have my first holiday until the age of 18 and I've been making up for lost time ever since by taking advantage of any cheap package deals I can.
Hotels I've stayed in have always been nice, clean and simple. Somewhere to sleep and shower after a long day of exploring the nearby food, shops and culture. This year, however, I was lucky enough to win a plush holiday to Mexico, and so I experienced my first ever 5* luxury hotel complete with swim-up rooms, elaborate decor and 24 hour room service.

I made a video!
Pretty much every night that I get into bed I'll sit up on my phone for half an hour or so (okay, it actually probably ends up being like two hours or something, whoops!) watching random YouTube videos from bloggers and travellers and whoever else. And I always find myself thinking "I want to do that".
So today, I uploaded my first YouTube video - yey! 🎥

Dreaming of a life in Tenerife #BlogYourWayToSpain
I was a bit of a late starter when it came to sunshine holidays. My parents never had passports, and so caravan parks were where we spents our weeks off from school (and they were awesome by the way!). Finally, at the age of 18, I had my first holiday abroad. And my oh my, that was the spark that started my slight obsession with sunny holidays.
Being in a different country was so new and exciting that I vowed to visit a new destination every time we booked a holiday. That plan worked for a while, until something happened that I didn't anticipate - a resort stole a little piece of my heart.

A luxury weekend in Paris thanks to Boohoo.com*
If you saw my first Let Me Tell You This post back in January, you'll have read that lucky ol' me won a holiday to Mexico (I'm still pinching myself!). So imagine my surprise when just a couple of weeks later, I received an email from Boohoo letting me know I'd won a luxury trip to Paris in their #myboohoobae competition, complete with Boohoo clothes and £300 spending money. (Yes, they say good things come in threes... I'm waiting patiently for holiday prize number three to come along!)

A free 5* holiday to Switzerland? Yes please!
Hello everyone! As you may know if you follow me on Twitter or if you read my first Let Me Tell You This post, I was incredibly lucky and won myself a 5* holiday to Mexico (I know, it's amazing, I still can't quite believe it!). I'm always entering giveaways on Twitter, and have been lucky enough to win a fair few, but nothing as big as holiday... until now of course! And seriously, now I feel like I have lucky dust and can win more... If I win a holiday to Mexico, I can conquer the world, right?

Ten Reasons You Should Visit Benidorm

Today marks three weeks since I flew home from Benidorm after a weeks holiday, and I am still having withdrawal symptoms, and have been since the day I got home. It was the first time I'd visited Benidorm, and it far surpassed my expectations. I mean, don't get me wrong, I was expecting it to be a great holiday, but honestly, it was amazing!

Taking a Break with Forest Holidays

Just after New Year, I went away for a week with my family and boyfriend to stay in a Forest Holidays cabin. It's the second time I've had a break with them and both times I have been over the moon. They have nine idyllic locations for you to get away to and plenty of extras you can add to your luxurious woodland cabin stay. The cabins are truly wonderful, and there's plenty to do whilst you're away (though I spent most days in my onesie with a book and some food!).

My Newcastle New Year

If you've followed me on social media around New Year time, you will know I am a self-confessed New Years Scrooge. My boyfriends Dad, however, lives in Scotland (where they are big on the whole New Year/Hogmanay thing!) and invited us to stay with him over New Year, so I decided I should work up the courage to celebrate it this year. Unfortunately, the Scotland plans had to be cancelled last minute. But, rather than let our holiday days off work go to waste, my boyfriend and I booked a last minute Premier Inn in Newcastle for four days of food and shopping - perfect!
