So, I didn't follow you back on Twitter?

I'm pretty sure it's happened to us all. You get a new follower on Twitter at, let's say, 8pm one night. Cool. Hey there, maybe we'll end up being friends. But if you haven't followed them back by the next day, well, they don't hesitate to click the unfollow button. And sometimes it happens with the same person a few times. You've done nothing to offend them overnight, except not follow them back straight away. But what is so wrong with that?

Having a well-deserved #CalmDay

"Calm the mind, change the world."
It's no secret that I am stressed. Whilst juggling two part time jobs, a mathematics degree, numerous deadlines, plus blog posts and social media, my mind is constantly working overtime, even when I'm settled in bed ready to sleep. I struggle to find the time to put life on hold, breathe and just relax for a moment. Until, that is, Calm came into the picture.

15 Things I Lie About (Almost!) Daily

Day to day, we are faced with opportunities to either tell the truth, or to tell a fib. I have a confession to make: I'm a big fat liar. I tell a lie pretty much every single day, mostly to myself. And you probably tell a few porkies too. Don't agree? Have a read of my little white lies and see if they change your mind!

It's okay not to celebrate Valentine's Day

Okay, this is kind of a spontaneous post, which I've not done before (spontaneity can lead to regret!) but hey ho. I'm currently sat in bed feeling lonely because my boyfriend has gone off to work for the day. Sure, I'd love him to be here with me snuggling, but he's doing overtime because he's in the process of creating us the perfect home, and to do that, we need money. So what's more romantic than that?! The fact he's gone to work on Valentine's Day so that he can buy us the perfect sofa, or treat us to a new TV, or simply afford a carpet, is perfect.

Alone this Valentines? Have a date with yourself!

As you all know, the day of love is just around the corner. A day when red rose sales are at an ultimate high, jewellery is flying off the shelves, and restaurants are overflowing with happy couples. But what if you're alone this Valentine's? Your partner might not believe in the holiday (*cough cough* Damian!), or you could live apart. Maybe you're happily married with children and time together seems an impossibility, or maybe you've just not found the special one yet. Then what? Then you have a date with yourself for the night, and here are some fabulous ways to do it (and some lovely giveaways will follow to get you started)...

Planning My Year with Stick to Stigu

Let me start with a happy belated new year, and apologies for the lack of blog posts! My January has been incredibly hectic due to it being that horrid time of the year - semester one exams. I'm half way through them now and so wanted to show you what I'm using to plan my 2016.

Getting Cake Through the Letterbox with Baker Days + Giveaway

When someone mentions cake, my ears immediately send a signal to my brain to make me want cake. I love cake. I also love coming home to post that's come through my letterbox. So imagine if there was a way cake could come through my letterbox too. What a combination! Well, imagine no more, and instead look towards Baker Days!

Tell Tale Signs You're Becoming a Crazy Cat Lady

Nowadays you don't have to look far to come across something cat related in every day life. It's not hard to stumble upon a cat website, cat clothing, cat homeware, cat TV shows. Cats, cats, cats, cats, cats. And it's awesome.

My cat obsession began years ago when my family took in a stray, who is now known to the world as Minnie Moo. She's fat (like reeeeally fat). She's evil. She's miserable. She's a rubbish cat. But she's my baby and I wouldn't have her any other way.

Ten Reasons You Should Visit Benidorm

Today marks three weeks since I flew home from Benidorm after a weeks holiday, and I am still having withdrawal symptoms, and have been since the day I got home. It was the first time I'd visited Benidorm, and it far surpassed my expectations. I mean, don't get me wrong, I was expecting it to be a great holiday, but honestly, it was amazing!

Taking a Break with Forest Holidays

Just after New Year, I went away for a week with my family and boyfriend to stay in a Forest Holidays cabin. It's the second time I've had a break with them and both times I have been over the moon. They have nine idyllic locations for you to get away to and plenty of extras you can add to your luxurious woodland cabin stay. The cabins are truly wonderful, and there's plenty to do whilst you're away (though I spent most days in my onesie with a book and some food!).

My Wonderful Christmas Prezzies

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and Boxing Day! I had a wonderful day with my family. An amazingly scrumptious (and very filling!) Christmas dinner, a chilled out night with my boyfriend and I was spoilt rotten by Santa Claus. And Boxing Day was of course a day of laziness and left over Christmas food, which is a perfect combination if you ask me. Now it's all done and dusted, I want to give you all a little look at some of my presents.
